Pros

Absolutely none, besides the points for travel you incur for the ridiculous amount of travel to random cities in the U.S.

Cons

Your incentives are taken away if you do not meet arbitrary goals that vary month to month, so your effective salary as a trainer is disgustingly low for the amount of travel you are required to do. You will be fired if you discuss your incentives or salary with another trainer. Actually, this is almost like working for the Chinese government, because anything you say in private to another that is negative in tone will be used against you, no matter how small it is, and you will likely be fired for any negative correspondence. Everyone here has 'drank the kool-aid' and it is not a term of endearment, even though employees use it to laughingly describe their loyalty to Jay and SI. You will learn ABSOLUTELY no useful job skills from this position besides how to cover up the truth and lie to clients (Ex: Orthodontists and Dentists); the environment is unprofessional, catty and above all immature. If you would like to relive college again with girls who had no other job prospects besides their good looks, be my guest. This job is like being a glorified Hooter's waitress, except you most likely get paid less. Anyone who tries to convince you in the interview that this is a sought after position that will 'take you around the world' is just spouting out garbage that was spewed to them when they were first hired and are looking to fill the position that other girls have left; this company has tremendous turnover for a reason. The CEO is an absolute joke. What kind of C-level executive makes the ridiculous statements he does? How does he convince so many employees that his unethical marketing practices are actually benign and invaluable to the client?

Pros

great place to work if you don't have new ideas and really like being bossed around. also a great environment for those who still have popular-girl syndrome from high school, don't mind being thrown under the bus, or enjoy being yelled at by the CEO or management. If you get in good with top level employees, you're safe and will probably be happy. otherwise, you may get axed at any moment or your life might become a living hell. the office offers free food, so that's a plus.

Cons

don't believe the "ra ra" reviews... they're all from department heads, who can be summed up as vindictive and inexperienced. new hires and non-management employees may be blamed for mistakes that you have no part in. you may be hired for one job and end up being placed in a different one... some employees are moved from one department to another without any consideration. like cattle. the CEO's "strong personality" is actually a quick hot temper. he'll yell at employees at the drop of a hat. even if he apologizes later it's only after he's massively humiliated you and he won't hesitate to do it again. there's also no real HR department to go to if you're not being treated fairly by management- just the CEO's assistant... so just guess how that will that will turn out.

Pros

The money was good for a while. But they have changed so much and don't reward hard work the same way they used to.

Cons

A hot-tempered CEO who thinks it's ok to berate people. A "leadership" staff of a few late-20's / early-30's women who have almost zero business experience between all of them. Jay is such a hot head that he asks for advice but has no patience so just does whatever he wanted to do in the first place. He also places blame on everyone but himself. He does give the old "this is my fault. I hired incompetent people..." But no one is as smart as him so it's pointless trying. And he will let you know how dumb you are.
