Pros

The people are fantastic. The New Zealand culture is very family oriented and provides many opportunities for life/work balance. Awesome market with lots of opportunity. The product is easy to use and most customers are fanatical about the value SLI delivers... however...

Cons

The space is becoming crowded and "search" is quickly becoming a commodity. The lack of extra cash to invest in innovation and expansion is sure to weigh heavy on the future of SLI. I see further issues with retaining employees, mostly due to their lack of cash and inability to pay market rates for good people.

Good collaborative work environment. Great office.

Cons

Management seems stuck in a rut of running to fix problems after they occur rather than try to preempt them with good planning.

Downtown San Jose - easy access to 101/280. Snacks. Weekly Massages. Good entry-level positions.

Cons

HR is completely unaware of SJ office life and prone to speaking unappropriately with female employees who are treated badly.
