The management working there is unprofessional and very nitpicky. The pay is really not great and/or equal to the equivalent of work you are given. I was constantly being called in to come in early or cover someone else's shift as we only had four employees working at the store. Overall, would not recommend working at SAS.

Customers know shoes are not made the same anymore. Where’s the quality our founders were known for? Prices have gone up drastically but quality is no longer there. You can just tell by the feel. Some customers say they are too painful to wear. And have been wearing our shoes for decades. Hours have been cut down so much. Pay hasn’t gone up even though shoes are being price gouged (many customers have stated this) hard to maintain cost of living. You’re expected to call hundreds if not up in the thousand (assuming the larger volume stores) for customers birthdays and so on. Many get mad we call them constantly.
