Pros

If you like cycling then Rapha really is a company where you are encouraged to pursue your passion. Small-ish company experiencing massive growth which is exciting and there is a lot of learning A social office full of great people

Cons

If you’re new to cycling it can be quite intimidating. The natural growth demand is stretched by management seeking aggressive growth which put employees under stress A bulging middle management engendering a culture of blame and constant reinventing of the wheel

Pros

They sell nice salads at lunchtime.

Cons

The worst management & HR I've ever encountered. Everybody stabs each other in the back. Management get away with shocking amounts including what they claim on their expenses. Worst place I've ever worked.

Pros

Discounts on Products and industry discounts

Cons

The leadership team are seem out of their depth. There is lack of accountability within the leadership team and this filters down to all levels of the organisation. People are unclear of their goals and targets and the companies priorities often shift from one moment to the next based on reactionary decision making. There is a huge culture of passing the buck and no one seemingly steps up to make the tough decisions, the leadership team are constantly throwing each other under the bus to maintain favour with the CEO There is a constant effort to drive sales through discounting due to a shortage of cash in the business and driving down staffing costs is a common theme, meanwhile product is constantly being delivered late with quality control issues, this has been happening for years with no seaming improvement The culture is pretty toxic, the HR team leave a lot to be desired what is all the more strange about this is that pretty much everyone in the company shares this perspective yet they are allowed to continue sowing fear and discontent, as a result labour turnover amongst head office staff is the worst I have ever seen. When complaints are made to HR they are not taken seriously and the onus is often put back on the employee to sort out the issue themselves There is also a sizeable expectation to work more than 40hours a week and respond to emails outside of office hours. If you do not conform to these expectations you risk performance management and having your job threatened. Work/Life balance is definitely not in the vocabulary of the leadership team, indeed one of the companies values is 'suffer' which given the work environment is a cruel irony, if you work for Rapha you will indeed 'suffer'
