    I worked at PubMatic full-time

    Pros

Great people, both in London and internationally. Interesting work and opportunities to partner with premium publishers to solve their monetisation challenges.

    Cons

Retention rate wasn't amazing but that was only because some star players left for more senior roles.

I have been working at PubMatic full-time for less than a year

    Pros

Employee Satisfaction - senior leadership truly values and appreciates its' employees. They do a great job of gathering feedback and taking action to satisfy employee requests as best as possible. Great benefits - health/medical, compensation, and start-up like perks. Transparency - overall great transparency across the entire company, whether you're entry-level, a people manager, or c-suite exec...communication and transparency are exhibited across the org. Training & Development - they provide employees with many tools to further develop your career, offering great training resources (large library of video-recorded sessions, plenty of 1:1 conversations, etc.), and extensive documentation. Business Strategy - a positive business outlook - both short and long-term - a nimble and fast-paced working environment allowing management to quickly assess and readjust to changes in the marketplace, and continue to invest and develop products and solutions based on market feedback.

    Cons

    Does not offer 401(k) matching.

I have been working at PubMatic full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

    - The company is moving through the downturn very successfully - Seems to be gaining share quickly - Cutting some very interesting strategic deals - Hiring aggressively, even through the downturn - Has a strong CTV vision

    Cons

    - Competes with some huge companies in the walled gardens, which can be challenging at times - Still some macro unknowns with cookies evolving

I have been working at PubMatic full-time

    Pros

    1. Most people leave by 5pm 2. Good pay for ad tech 3. Has budget for entertainment 4. Working for an SSP is like being a middle man. It's boring and publishers hate SSPs

    Cons

NYC office sucks for a few reasons: 1. Customer Success is 1000% politics. Be careful of the VP on this team. He reminds me of a phony used car salesman. You'll eventually learn he's a hot-headed snake and will go behind your back, lie and manipulate his team, changes goals in the middle of the quarter, and overall creates an environment that makes him unpleasant to work with as a person of color. The directors under him are folks he's groomed as his pet and will do what ever he wants. It's hilarious! 2. This company does not offer WFH. Those who are WFH are (white) privileged and know it. They take naps in the middle of their days are brag about it. 3. The VP level is very much old, corporate and white. They ruin it for the people of color who create the diversity at this company. Side note: folks of color here are scared to speak up as they will stand out. 4. No one likes the head of HR - or her team. HR knows folks of color have a hard time working here, but they fail create an environment of inclusive diversity, because they're afraid to stand out. Most folks of color have left this company and more are planning to leave this year. 5. Not necessarily a con but the Indian guys at this office know what's really going on behind the tech. They are the saving grace of this company. 6. OpenWrap product has many flaws and is a pain to set up. Truthfully, Publisher clients don't care for it. 7. Looking to get promoted as a person of color? Good luck! The CEO (of a 500 person company) needs to approve of every promotion.

I have been working at PubMatic full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

In Customer Success team, one-team attitude. Great relationships with our customers, lots of growth over the last few years with good runway and potential given strong product investments. Self-starter will do well here.

    Cons

By nature of market and our business, many things often have to be managed in parallel (different product upsells, learning about new market requirements and legislation). We also tend to run as a lean team, you'll never be bored but sometimes may have to juggle a lot.

I have been working at PubMatic full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

PubMatic is a great place to work. In the covid crisis they were early to have people work at home and have done a lot to try and keep people informed and connected. The CEO sends a weekly video, which is nice.

    Cons

Nothing significant I can think of.
