Pros

Povio is a modern company with values that are very much aligned with mine. Here are some of the most valuable things that I appreciate about Povio: - An individual is always given an opportunity to learn and grow based on their wishes and desires. I started as a frontend developer, but based on my wishes, I was given the chance to become a lead, a mentor and to work with people. - Whenever you are in doubt or need help, there is a great support framework available. You can always talk to someone who will help you resolve your issues or point you to the right person. - Povio takes feedback very seriously. An individual will receive constant feedback from people they work with, and with it they can improve really quickly. In addition, everyone is open to suggestions and feedback on how to improve the processes in the company. - Povio puts a lot of effort on employee satisfaction and health. I was never pressured into working overtime, in fact, when I once did, I got a message from the management on how they can help me to not overwork anymore. I am definitely the healthiest I've ever been, both physically and mentally, thanks to the work-life balance that Povio enables, and with that, I'm also the most productive I've ever been.

Cons

Povio is a great company, but there is always room for improvement: - The company is quire large and with multiple offices. It is hard to grasp the whole knowledge of the entire team at the moment. If there is a person in the Prishtina office that could potentially teach me a lot about a certain topic (or vice versa), it would be very hard for me to discover and meet that person. - Based on the impact that Povio has in many cities, especially in Slovenia, I would like the company to put itself out more, organizing meetups or conferences, where employees could exchange ideas with other people. I really love to present in public, and at Povio this wish was granted to me on multiple occasions, but I feel like there could be more opportunities for it. - There were times when I didn't have a project, and it was quite hard to feel productive and valuable to the company while working only on internal tasks. - There are times when the higher management is unresponsive on Slack and it might require involving multiple people to get the answer in time.
