Pros

Free food and other perks, very relaxed attitude towards deadlines and overtime (but quickly reaches a point where it is ridiculous and damaging to morale).

Cons

Politics (everywhere, everyone). Red tape and countless useless meetings. Very few people know what they are doing and things take 3 times longer which is praised as "the Popcap way of only shipping when it's ready". Projects get canned all the time with months of team work thrown away based on the opinion of a single person. Epidemic levels of brown-nosing and people moving up the lather thanks to friendship with the right people. Lame technology, with tons of half-baked, undocumented, internally developed libraries and tools.
