Superb team, but majorly disconnected from parent organisation
Pros
- Best teams I have ever worked with across both clients. - I felt listened to and supported by direct management and team members at all times. - Feedback was always welcomed. - Truly looked after me when I needed it from a mental health perspective.
Cons
- Serious issues in terms of system access and employer hub / benefits etc access from parent company Adecco. - My experience was very different depending on the client I was assigned to. At the major client, Pontoon couldn't have been better. However, with my first client, my team had shrunk in response to COVID and we felt abandoned just before we wrapped up with our client. I felt we were grossly under-resourced and a little bit hung out to dry. This was the opposite of my experience with the second client however. - Salary and benefits disappointing (the latter also hard to navigate and sign up for) for the prestige of the client and the role. - Career opportunities are there if you're willing to move across clients but otherwise require a great deal of tenure. Still, those who get these opportunities in my experience are excellent in their roles. - This is both a good thing and a bad thing; you really have to get into the mindset of the client very very quickly. Very short ramp up. But again, my teams were brilliantly supportive and helpful, just know that the pace may not be for everyone.
