Pros

Decent pay and reasonable benefits in a very low-tech town. Knoxville is a a nice place to live, pleasant weather, attractive mountains nearby, very low cost of living and taxes.

Cons

Software is not considered an intellectual pursuit at Perceptics. If you are a software engineer, be prepared to provide customer support for the hardware products.
