Your manager is your lifeline, forced to suck up to them or you'll get the axe. No flexible hours ends up feeling confined.

Pros

Peninsula is a great place to grow professionally while working in a supportive and collaborative environment. Working within legal services offers exposure to a wide range of cases, which really helps broaden your skill set and deepen your knowledge. Everyday is different between attending hearings, drafting, and offering support to clients. Within the team, colleagues are approachable and genuinely willing to help, creating a culture where collaboration is encouraged rather than competitive. On top of that, the perks and benefits are excellent and show that Peninsula really values its people!

Cons

The role is fully office-based, which may be an adjustment for those who prefer remote or hybrid work. That said, being in the office does encourage face-to-face collaboration, stronger team connections, and a more engaged workplace culture. This being classed as con is largely a generational matter, and in any case, is industry standard for the most part so is not a true “con”.
