The worst place imaginable to work

Pros

Difficult to think of any

Cons

Very inflexible working hours Working overtime is required nearly daily. Expect to work late into the evening for no extra compensation or no ability to leave early later in the week to compensate for extra time worked during the week. Mangers treat employee with no respect. If you make a mistake they typically throw you under the bus to save their own skin. This sort of blame culture is rampant in PPD. Really toxic culture of cliques within the office which makes fitting in as a new employee extremely difficult. No sense of comradery, solidarity or team spirit in the company. Breaks are at a minimum. Managers will overload you with work rather than hire more staff and to cover their own back they insist you take your two breaks a day meanwhile you are working at least two or three hours of unpaid overtime a week just to get your work finished. Once you become a pernament employee there is still no paid overtime.

Pros

Used to be an enjoyable place to work but it has done a 180 in the last 6 months

Cons

Incredibly toxic workplace, full of micro-managers that have extreme favoritism. Do not listen to or implement any feedback given by analysts to try and make the place better. 25% staff turnover rate which is consistent from the last year and is not decreasing any time soon. Feel sorry for new analysts as there's no effort made to try and integrate them at all, they're just left to their own devices as soon as training is done, leading to lower self esteem when mistakes are made. No support and everyone pitted against each other for promotion so it feels like you're all alone.

Pros

Good place to start your career and learn GMP. The first three months of training is very comprehensive, but training after that is very basic. You get exposed to multiple techniques.

Cons

Low wages. Career progression is very limited. Very high turnover. Workload can be very high at times. Majority of management are either toxic or unqualified. Senior management was brought in to address concerns, but nothing was done
