Petty/mean-girl/high school-like work environment. Very cliquey, lack of management. On the first day the manager introduced me to one employee as a "Senior Formulations Chemist that hasn't been promoted yet"...then come to find out there are few people who are taking on the extra duties of a senior employee without the additional pay or the title, but thats ok because "they'll promote them when their new facility is up in running", ridiculous. The company is growing way too fast for what they can handle and the "senior" employees are not quiet about their disdain for the changes being made. For the Formulations Chemist role there was one manager over seeing 40+ employees half of which had been there for less than a month. Employees that had been for slightly over a month were training new hires which just lead to a plethora of issues.

Management is absolute trash. Layoff after layoff after layoff. My boss was too much of a coward to tell me herself that I was getting laid off and I worked with her for several years. No email, no text message, nothing. You are temporary at this place even when you're a FT employee. The executives show up in their BMWs and Teslas to the office and it's extremely obnoxious and ironic given that their salaries are so massive and they offer nothing to the people that are actually doing all of the work. It's very upside down there.
