Pros

There were good guidelines and process before merger.

Cons

Witnessed a harrasement case during a corporate gathering by a key employee which has left a long-lasting effect. The company's inadequate response to complaints and lack of proactive measures to address the issue created an environment that fosters discomfort and fear. It is very disheartening to see a workplace culture that falls short in ensuring the safety and well-being of its employees. Instead of going through the motions to favour the key employee, management should have taken immediate action to address these issues.

Bad Senior Management/CEO

Pros

There are a lot of things to do and expand the services and create new services. However, this company did not have experts anymore because of the quarterly laid-off.

Cons

Formerly 2nd Watch. APAC companies took over after the merger. A lot of US employees were suffered. APAC stakeholders wanted to see the cost cut in 2nd Watch, and expert engineers and managers were let go to keep Indian and Singapore employees. The management did not know what to do and tried to support the US clients who wanted only US citizen support. The company terminated 5 to 6 people every quarter with minimal extra paychecks. Wait for your turn if you continue to work there.

Challenging Work Environment and Leadership Concerns at Tech Consulting Firm

Pros

The firm, with a history spanning over a decade and formerly known as a notable player in the tech consulting space, maintains a standardized approach to migration processes, in line with industry norms.

Cons

1) Unpredictable Leadership and Unwelcoming Atmosphere: The top management, including the CEO, demonstrates inconsistency and a lack of clear direction. The attitude and behavior of the marketing and growth leadership contribute negatively to the work environment. From other "leaders", there is a constant negative attitude. Overall, the leadership team is not capable of motivating anyone who is reporting to them. 2) Absent Leadership in Key Areas: There has been a notable absence of leadership in vital departments, with no official communication or interim measures in place, leading to uncertainty and disarray within the team. 3) No Clear Market Positioning: Our firm struggles to carve out a distinct market position and lacks a coherent strategy for moving forward. This is compounded by the tendency to promote leaders despite evident downward trends in revenue. 4) Favoritism and Internal Politics: A culture of favoritism is evident, disadvantaging those not part of certain internal groups. This has impacted morale and career opportunities. 5) High Turnover: The company has seen an alarming rate of turnovers. Leadership tends to blame individuals rather than addressing larger systemic issues. 6) Inadequate Onboarding and Resources: The absence of a structured process for integrating new staff. 7) Operational Rigidity and Lack of Innovation: Despite its long history, the company shows a reluctance to evolve beyond established methods, particularly in areas outside of migration services. Attempts to innovate or introduce new methodologies are constantly met with resistance, especially from individuals in technical leadership roles who do not want to get out of their comfort zone.
