Pros

- Low basic salary, but very high total income when add with all allowances - Can learn a lot of things as you're expected to involve with lot of different area - Nice boss, anything can be discussed

Cons

- Long working hour, 6 days work, 2 days off with 2 days shift rotation. Out of those 6 days, 3 days you maybe had to do 4 hours compulsory OT - too many changes, management keep on improving things without addressing pre-existing problems in the lab - quite bad culture exist within the lab.

Pros

- High total income. Basic is low despite your qualification. However, if you're working in shift the total allowance can double your basic

Cons

- Long working hours if you're working in shift. Might have to work for 12-hour for a few days in a week. Definitely RIP work-life balance. - Not suitable for fresh graduate who are looking to develop their experience as the lab doesn't have much in-demand instrument. - Bad environment. People here are flooded with 'long serving staff' that were too comfortable. Doesn't like to improve, hate good changes that happened, didn't guide new staff properly, love to talk about other people behind their back. - High conversion rate as not many people are willing to endure such environment
