Worst company I've ever worked for...

Pros

They over pay employees to compensate for the terrible working environment, lack of communication, and poor leadership. Use of gym, equipment was old however having a facility on site was a plus.

Cons

CEO Ryan Drexler, has poor leadership ability, communication, and is in dire need of a good executive team to lead this company. Just let go 90% of their workforce to up and move company to LA with virtually no communication. Executives are syphoning money from the company to fill their own greedy pockets. Employees had bonuses and incentives taken away, yet Executives were paid bonuses even when the company is running a net loss. For vendors trying to do business with MP, think again, they will wait to pay for services/goods as long as possible (over 120 days in most cases) and then will refuse to pay the whole amount without getting some sort of discount. Everything about this company is shady and unethical.

Pros

I do not have a pro to share. There is a 20 word minimum which is the only reason why I'm still typing.

Cons

I predict that this company, in all likelihood, will not have to file a 10-K for more than one additional year. Q2 2016 Financial Results (ONLY DUE) to Massive Lay-offs: -Reduced net loss to $4.2 million from $7.0 million; -Inventory reduced by 53%; -Cash more than tripled to $13.1 million; -Total operating expenses reduced by 50% to $12.2 million; -Selling, general and administrative expenses decreased 14% to $4.4 million; and -Salaries and benefits decreased 58% to $3.3 million.

Fun at times but not worth the grind and pay.

Pros

MP has fun people to work with and there is a state of the art gym that can be used at the facility which is fantastic. You get free supplements and come into contact with some cool athletes a few times a year. Not very PC place which makes it feel less corporate, more of a "bro" friendly environment. Taking an extra hour to hang with the owners and play basketball isn't a bad way to break up your day.

Cons

There is a lot of talk about team and succeeding together when in reality it's a few people busting their ass and not getting paid their worth. Always asked for extra time and hours to be put in with no real regard for a life outside of the office. A what have you done for me lately place where your hard work is forgotten quickly. Owners make far more money than they should when in reality they could get 2x as much from employees if they really where a "team" and spread the wealth.
