Pros

Experience a different country....about it.

Cons

6 days a week, micro-managed, constant changing of commission plan(never for the better), good old boys club, no real help settling in...I.e car/apartment, payment on delivery only which can take months/years! Only about 5% make the money necessary to justify uprooting and working 6 days a week under constant scrutiny and in a hostile environment. Constantly competing against fellow ISR's for the same clients which is encouraged by management. Neglect to mention in interview you pay to work...between phone, internet and 'desk fee' it comes to approximately 420 Euro. Also beware of the taxes in certain countries...they have came to bite many on the backside!

Pros

From Jan 2012 to Jan 2015, the company still appeared to look out for the best interest of our military members and their family, and also the independent sales reps in the Far East.

Cons

Since Jan 2015, Military Autosource has NOT been a benefit to the military members and their family, and it has been using negative agression against its new and experienced independent sales reps. I don't recommend this position to anyone, due to the bullying and micromanagement tactics of all management levels against the Independent sales reps, and the inability to make a good income for 90 % of those who give this opportunity a go. Also, Military Autosource has lost the confidence of AAFES and the military community as a whole. IT'S JUST A MATTER OF TIME BEFORE MILITARY AUTOSOURCES CONTRACT WILL BE TERMINATED

Pros

It was exciting to live in Europe, and living overseas was a educational enrichment in learning different cultures. You learn sales skills and how to properly qualify a customer. You should like working outside on the lot as there is no money sitting in the office. Being able to understand key sales words like "just checking my options"(customer has no options), " my Grandmother passed away" (Customer need s the $100 deposit to go to the Club) and my favorite, "can I just pay you every month?"(Customers credit is so bad that his last car was buy here pay here program in the US and he/she liked that)

Cons

50+ hours a week, commission based only, paying local Taxes, micro managed, more sales agents then customer, training new agents without any recognition from management, using own commissions to pay for Fuel in show cars when moving to and from the shop for recalls, even when the car is not your costumer. Paying for everything related to the sales location, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, soap, vacuum for cleaning cars, jumper cables, fasteners for displaying banners, bungee cords but you can save all those receipts to write it off on your taxes!
