Pros

The only pro is you get paid.

Cons

This place is full of liars. They lie to you during the interview to lull you into a false sense of security. The management is not properly trained and does not have a strong skill set. At least in the Coppell office. The office is full of petty politics. Don't dare be a Christian, you will be public enemy for sure. If you are not Indian, an obese white woman, a gay white guy, or a decent looking married man - you are treated with a passive aggressive shady attitude. They also treat you differently if you know what you are doing and don't need to be micromanaged. I was lied to so many times I literally left with no respect for anyone. The owner has these messages sent out daily of so-called inspiring quotes, but either has no clue to the bullying tactics implemented by senior management and HR or fosters it himself. I was told senior management is just waiting for him to retire so they can take over. You cannot trust HR in Erie because they are all friends with the management. They will all conspire against you if you dare to stand up for yourself. They want you to just do your job and pass off your knowledge to people who are promoted that don't know anything about operations. The manager that I worked under was a complete manipulator and relocated. The company promoted a customs broker to the position. Someone who was rude and nasty to me when I started. So, I knew it would not work out with her. She didn't even know how to make a booking with a steamship line, didn't know how to properly enter an invoice for payment in the system and didn't even know how to submit accurate documents for exports to Latin America. Actually, nobody other than I knew all of the above. I tried to help and was swatted away like a fly - until they all realized they needed my input. I helped, but then I took the stance that I was not going to help train a person who was promoted that didn't have the knowledge for that promotion. Meanwhile they get a promotion and raise without the proper skillset and benefit from my years of experience. I don't think so. I can be part of a team, but this team is just shady. Especially the outgoing manager who relocated. Just a petty little brat that didn't know how to submit documents to Latin America himself. Once I saw the lack of knowledge - I questioned how he himself kept that job. He also slacked on responding to customers - delaying shipments. Also cost the company 10,000+ usd on a mistake because his attention to detail was lacking. People in management cannot humble themselves to take advice from people with experience. If they could - that 10,000+ usd bill could have been avoided if they would have just taken a dry run charge as I suggested and fought the charges that were caused by the steamship line. In the end it bit him on the butt. I still supported him at that time - while he talked behind the sales rep's back about her being upset that he screwed up the shipment. The person I was taking responsibility for was supposed to retire. She was a complete psycho bully and I had to complain about her early on and several times after up until the end. They lied and said she was gone, only to find out later she stayed on as a contractor. Had I been advised of this in the beginning - I would have left earlier. They even made me bring my special needs son into work - while another woman who was married and had help with her children got to stay home the entire summer w/out bringing her children in. It literally drove me crazy to have to commute with my son and was not healthy for him either. In the end HR showed how sneaky they were. Management did as well. The person running the Coppell office only wants people to brown nose her. She likes to pull strings. She loves to ignore people while walking around on her phone like she is a queen. The office is filthy. They don't even have the hot water running to wash your hands. They NEVER had the carpet vacuumed not one single time. The bathrooms are not cleaned regularly, and the vents were never cleaned either. The women's bathroom vent had lint covering it in its entirety. This office runs without any business ethics. Especially when quoting their customers 40%+ margins. What happened to adding a buffer and then a handling fee? Billing a customer $2000 usd + on a shipment is just robbery and horrible morally and ethically. There are so many more cons, but I will leave it with - RUN. You are better off going with companies like Expeditors, Pegasus, Dachser, AIT and CH Robinson. Logistics Plus is not worth the headache. They seem nice at first, but they couldn't be more evil. If you choose to work here - don't think they are your friends or have your best interest in mind. They absolutely do not unless you are part of their club. Never trust the people who go out and smoke together. Those are the people who bow down to management and set others up for failure. Management is just pure evil. I learned a long time ago never to work for a company where women are in senior positions. I am happy to have moved on to a company where all men are in senior roles and loyalty and honesty is valued. You will not get loyalty here. You will be manipulated and lied to to keep you complacent until you wake up. Also, the benefits are complete trash. They wanted me to sign a separation agreement that would inhibit me from telling the public just what a horrible place this is to work. But I declined because I have a moral compass and value my free speech. Not everyone has a price on their integrity.

Pros

1. You will be utilizing genuinely cutting-edge, interesting and fun new technologies, especially those relating towards information security, AI, and intrusion detection and prevention systems. 2. The most perfect, crystal-clear team communication and management. It's one big happy family within the IT dept at LP. The team most certainly does not hide away in separate Microsoft Teams chats to avoid input from the manager, in fact I noticed them taking his totally competent and useful advice every time there was a discussion. It's beautiful to also see how well the team adores the CIO and his great leadership. Every question I had was promptly, immediately answered without even a hint of ambiguity, and I even received answers when I didn't have questions. 3. The manager and CIO have an incredibly close relationship and they give a new meaning to effective leadership. I've never once heard the manager say anything bad about the CIO - in fact, it's always the most friendly, supportive and positive comments. I would usually hear about his hair. His glasses. His impeccable fashion sense. His opinions and direction, especially. The manager-CIO working relationship redefines the word "close"; this type of camaraderie is only something you'd see in a gay bathhouse. 4. I really hope you love to read, because there's wonderfully in-depth documentation. I was personally blown away by how the team actively documents every tiny little thing that occurs day-to-day. Every last policy and procedure is lovingly written down, sent and shown to you and never once are you expected to just know these policies without first being introduced to them. Absolutely nothing is just verbalized to you and then forgotten about later without having to constantly remind either (no one actually even physically speaks at all). It's all just documented and sent, printed out and also perfectly organized in a single folder in the IT fileshare for your viewing enjoyment. The documentation even has logical filenames on them! 5. Exceedingly fast-paced. There's always loads of work to do, every single day, so the day goes by fast. In fact you're always overloaded with work. Never do you have an opportunity to just sit there and play mobile games on your phone, or read about recipes on the internet, or arrange a sexual tryst with a couple married women. Beautifully well-defined project outlines additionally adorn the definitely not unorganized IT shared folder, which help give structure and focus to your work. Also, everything is perfectly planned, discussed and collaborated on before you even begin, all to help lessen any confusion that most certainly will never happen. 6. A blissful, uplifting environment. I could literally feel the heavenly vibrational frequencies permeating the building on a daily basis. It truly makes you forget about the crackheads walking around outside. What's more amazing is that I never once heard anyone screaming or swearing at each other either. Forget the stereotypical office atmosphere of immature cattiness and unprofessionalism; these are the most virtuous, composed and ethically-upright individuals you'll ever work with. 7. Absolutely wonderful head of HR. Such a soft-spoken, polite and submissive Christian woman that perfectly represents the character and values of Logistics Plus. You might think the CEO is the one making the all the company decisions, but she's the actual master behind the veil. She's loves to exercise too; a true work of art. You'll be able to tell - she loves looking at herself in the mirror just as much as everyone loves being around her. Once I realized I would never see her again, my body started swelling in various places and now doctors think something is wrong with my heart. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Cons

1. Giving 1 star because the building is a little cold sometimes.
