Bullying from top down

Pros

Tralee is in Co. Kerry which is nice to look at. Offices in Tralee are relatively new.

Cons

Bullying from day one. It is like a group of people who were bullied for years eventually became managers and then started to treat others as they had been treated. It is the most toxic environment I have ever seen or experienced. If you can stick being treated bad there is a path to management and you can in turn crucify people also.

Pros

Well established global Irish company so experience here looks good on your cv.

Cons

-Poor Work life balance -Toxic gossiping/backstabbing work culture -Poor managers who have little experience and tend to disregard employees to suit their own interests, they like you when they want something from you. -Awful training, no documented processes or training manuals for roles and little opportunities for professional development such as upskilling, training courses. -Huge workloads with very little guidance and support given and expected to take on huge workloads from the start. -Poor location which makes it difficult to socialise and make friends there as most people commute, so felt quite lonely sometimes. -Live to work and not a work to live environment with no thanks or recognition given to those who break their back, the reward comes after having spent a number of years there but with that comes increased workload. -You don't feel very involved in the company, particularly in finance, I could not attend certain events such as the finance conference as I was required to work instead. -Under resourced roles meaning there's huge pressure put on people due to high volume workload. Constantly jumping between and prioritising tasks to suit the business and you often feel like you need to complete work at weekends due to high expectations and unrealistic targets. -Very high turnover, lots of talented young people leaving due to poor management, tedious workload and being burnt out and unhappy here. -Hire and fire attitude, the company doesn't care about your personal life. -For a global food company you get very little free samples of new products launched unless you attend sensory sessions.

Pros

Good canteen lots of choice. New location is good for commuting to the West.

Cons

I don't know where to start. Outdated culture and practices. No loyalty among employees. Everyone encouraged to compete with each other which leads to a back stabbing atmosphere. Promotion is through playing the political game and aligning yourself with the right people. Directors and presidents talk dreadfully about staff behind backs.
