Pros

Having worked for 4 MSPs previously, I can honestly say Infranet is the best out of all of them. They give you all of the tools necessary to complete your job efficiently. The owners are very nice people who set you up for success. They will always take the time to sit down with you and explain how to do something. They are extremely patient. Management goes out of their way to make sure everyone is happy with what they are doing. Overall, the work culture is great. All of my fellow technicians are a pleasure to work with.

Cons

Though there have been strides to improve already, communication can use some more improvement. I will occasionally be surprised with an on-site visit that I didn't see placed in dispatch.

Pros

I personally love working at InfraNet Solutions. Previous reviews had stated that management had a lack of experience, but I don't see that at all. When I first started at InfraNet, there were employees there that had been with the company for a very long time. It appeared to me that they were set in their old ways and did not want to grow and change with the company, which included promoting a younger man into the CFO position. That being said, once the company started changing its policies, these people continued to work improperly and often times this led to the managers having to put in frustrating extra work to fix their errors. Now that those extraneous people have left the company, we have a completely new vibe. The new roles and support systems that we have in place are what we need to run the company well. The CFO that those people were complaining about, Dan Nardo, is actually very knowledgeable about what he is doing. I have been training with him every day since I was officially hired and have learned more in that amount of time than I ever thought possible. Who would have known that even I could do accounting? Now that the dynamic of the workplace has changed, Dan isn't bogged down by tedious extra work and comes out of his office and sits and works or even eats lunch with all of us in the main work area, where everyone gets along harmoniously. This probably would not have happened before, but the fact that it happens now shows that put in the right environment where everyone is working toward the same common goal, any team can become like family. One of the other senior managers, Marynel, I have known for a very long time. She is one of the nicest and hardest working people that I have ever met and she treats her employees like gold. I have never seen her treat an employee any less than she or any of the other senior managers. The last senior manager, John, is a very nice and soft spoken man. He spends a lot of time out of the office with clients, but every time that he is around, he is always very gracious and welcoming, even with new employees that he may not know as well. Many members of our team are new, and you know, that's ok with me. Both guys named Chris, Victor, Ryan, Henry, Steve, Bruce, Mike, Dan, Marynel and John have become like my extended family. We get our work done in the midst of a light-hearted atmosphere where we joke around and bust each other's chops. It actually saddens me to see that others had such negative things to say about this company. We are in the midst of moving to a downstairs office which we are all collaborating on together to customize into a modern style of workspace (Think Google and Twitter types) and I can't wait. In this company, everyone's opinion is valued. Even if you just started and we are discussing something you may not know everything about, I feel the environment is comfortable enough to share your idea regardless. No one here is above another and no one would ever pass judgment. We will teach you the way as long as you want to learn! The company pays competitively, with opportunities for review every six months. The longer you stay with the company, the better off you are. They take care of their loyal employees. Also, their benefit package is one to be desired. One last thing that I love is that they're always open to new ideas on how the company can make money and how this will benefit employees. We have started to branch out and hire people that specialize in different areas so that we can branch out to everything from managed services, to security, to networks and servers. I am proud to say that I work for this company and to work with everyone in it, including senior management, especially Dan, who I have worked hours on end with.

Cons

Sometimes when I'm talking to a customer on the phone and the guys are joking around, it makes it hard for me to hear who I'm talking to. Sometimes customer calls or conference calls can last a lot longer than you will expect them to, so be prepared for your arm to fall asleep from holding up the phone (or else get a headset) Sometimes when the managers are in a meeting and you need to consult one of them, it takes some time for you to be able to get to them. I can be a little frustrating if you're at a standstill until they can be consulted. This used to happen more often than not, but with the new environment it's happening less and less and less. Some of the programs they use take a little bit of getting used to, but once you get used to them, they are fine. They are also starting to evaluate the programs we use and see if they are the most efficient and if necessary, make changes to get the tools we need.

Pros

Infranet has an amazing work/life mix that allows kids in the office and many after hours activities, both social and team building. There is a startup feel with the stability of being established in the market. The company always provides the tools needed to keep up with the latest technologies including new phones and computers. There is room for growth and the company encourages professional development.

Cons

Several employees did not want to grow with the company. There was a feeling of being held back from growth. Employees have recently left and the environment is much better now and there is definitely a team vibe that can be felt.
