Great office perks but poor onboarding experience

Pros

Open Plan Office, free supply of food and drink, being in centre of Woking.

Cons

Lack of interest in new starters just thrown onto a computer expected to know everything in just a weeks training. No communication between manager and colleagues hardly there due to WFH for individuals. Felt like was targeted due to being quite loud and enthusiastic got told to pipe down. Lack of socialising within the office due to constantly being on screens. Making mistakes is considered bad do give feedback but seems like a little slap to the face. Asking for help or advice always seemed like you were pestering the training team.

Not very taxing work and you don't have to think about or take home with you.

Cons

Limited progression. Low pay. Micro-management and people watch over your shoulder and send passive messages rather than get to the point.
