Lack of leadership, vision, and strategy

Pros

The product has a lot of potential and the company certainly has a "sweet spot" in the manufacturing industry. Work life balance is pretty good, I usually didn't need to work on weekends or have late nights. This is an ethical business. I truly believe that the management team wants to "do the right thing." They donate to charities not because it looks good, but because they want to do good. I almost feel bad leaving a negative review because these are good people at heart, but at the same time, I want to see them succeed and to do that they need feedback.

Cons

The management team does not have any business experience outside of InfinityQS. They are good developers and statisticians, but they have zero experience outside of this one company. There is no plan/strategy/goals/metrics or even formal budget. They aren't leaders who inspire and motivate. The culture feels almost like a high-school, where you have to sign-in and sign-out every time you come and go. Salaries are far below market, and management knows this but doesn't seem to care. Employees feel under-valued. I agree with what some of the other reviewers said about management being out-of-touch.

Great employees, poor management

Pros

Great co-workers, flexible work arrangements (pending role), occasional company outings (for headquarters). Would recommend the company to administrative staff and recent college grads (especially engineering and technical support).

Cons

While InfinityQS isn't a terrible place to work, the company has major areas of improvement: low pay, disjointed executive management, unrealistic expectations, poor work/life balance and lack of transparency.
