Great concept for an industry in need, but the company structure and culture needs serious work.
Pros
~Flexible work hours (I work early morning to early afternoon while a coworker works a bit later than I do) ~ Really cool coworkers (production team and client services team are pretty awesome) ~Fun company outings during the summer and winter ~Decent holiday bonus ~ Good health benefits ~Nice office set up
Cons
~There isn't much space to move up in the company - the roles are very set and not much opportunity for growth. ~There is a lot of hypocrisy surrounding "working remotely." The leadership team executively decides that they won't allow their employees to work remotely (though the business -- with it being tech -- lends itself VERY well to it) but then they work remotely often. ~Communicative structures are off. I miscommunicated multiple times to clientele because of the poor standards (leaving necessary parties out is a regular occurrence). ~My pay was low and was thousands of dollars below the LOWEST range that Glassdoor had listed. I knew the president of this company personally (he sought ME out) and HPN still lowballed me.
