High Stress Job, Low Pay

Pros

-100% remote -Good company culture -Friendly co-workers -Rewarding helping families during a stressful time in their life.

Cons

-This is a job with EXTREME deadlines and is VERY stressful. This is definitely not for everyone. Most of the time you only have 2 days or less to coordinate the move-in process for a displaced family (Which is very lengthy). There are so many things that can happen that is out of your control, then, the family can't move-in. -Very few move-in coordinators, therefore, you will have approximately 20-30 files trying to coordinate at once which is NOT ideal for superb customer service and to ensure fluidity. This causes extreme stress. -VERY unclear lines between the Move-In Coordinators and Client Services team and who is responsible for what after the file is handed over. Rules regarding this change frequently and there is no "set" standard procedure. Client Services team goes behind your back to reach out to your direct manager on "issues" that turns out to be the Client Services Team simply not reading thoroughly and doing their job. They do whatever they can to put the load back on the Move-In Coordinator when it is their responsibility. -No room for advancement or to learn new valuable skills.

Toxic Positivity at its Finest

Pros

Everyone is friendly. Constant hours. Direct supervisors are very nice and reasonable.

Cons

Upper level management loves to micromanage, but somehow is still so out of touch with everything. Vastly underpaid for your qualifications, and overworked at times. Lots of turnover and surprise additional assignments

Toxic Management

Pros

All the employees that worked there were super nice and positive people that really just wanted to help people and make a difference. They were helpful and friendly.

Cons

Management makes it sound good in interview but hide the fact there is major turnover. Managers belittle employees in front of others, have no flexibility with work/life balance and don’t provide much guidance. Totally overwhelm everyone with too much work and wearing too many hats. Drive away great people.
