Overall a lack of training / knowledge.

Office is dirty and drab. Pay about 25% below industry standard (based on years of experience) with no COLA raises, no 401k match, benefits below average, poor communication, older workforce with less than ideal experience in newer technologies, entire staff is now under 15 (not including 2 owners) and when people leave they are not necessarily replaced so their workload is just given to those who remain. In my experience, some who work there are rude, cold, unfriendly, unprofessional, disrespectful, very few smiles and even less joy. Expect occasional temper tantrums, condescending attitudes, and 1 developer enjoys setting up coworkers for failure, will sometimes refuse to answer questions, and can be so nasty that it crosses into being abusive. There is no real accountability for bad behavior either - its just swept under the rug.
