Pros

Friendly atmosphere and flexible work arrangements.

Cons

The tech stack is severely outdated, and there's a complete absence of opportunities for career advancement or skill enhancement. We're stuck in a rut, performing repetitive tasks with antiquated technologies. The company's relentless pursuit of productivity often comes at the expense of employee morale. Despite our hard work, there's little recognition or appreciation. The meager annual raises do nothing to motivate or retain employees.

Stagnated company

Pros

Flexible working hours. Food at the office.

Cons

Working at this company feels like stepping back two decades in time. While remote work is technically permitted, it's met with disapproval. Embracing modern cloud technologies is a foreign concept; instead, the company insists on in-premise servers, burdening both the clients and the workforce. Innovation takes a backseat, as the company clings to outdated desktop applications built on archaic .NET Framework technologies, including the antiquated VB.NET. Furthermore, the demand for meticulous time documentation on a per-hour basis harkens back to obsolete practices that have long been surpassed in today's professional landscape. Compounding these challenges are the lackluster benefits. The salary falls below industry standards, even within the context of Uruguay. With a mere five national holidays annually, absence of medical benefits, meager bonuses, and a complete absence of stock options, the overall package leaves much to be desired. In addition to the aforementioned challenges, the company's communication channels are reminiscent of a bygone era. Outdated email systems and a reluctance to embrace modern collaboration tools contribute to inefficient and cumbersome workflows.
