- Toxic work culture. Management go on a power trip and don't smell their own s**t.
- The pay is extremely low. I've seen the same roles at other companies for 30-40k more than offered here.
- Micro managing. If they catch you simply googling something or checking your phone you are told off and given a warning. People I worked with who had kids were told that they should give daycare/schools the front office number and they'll get in touch with us in case of emergencies. This is beyond ridiculous - we're adults, with adult responsibilities. If you don't trust me having my phone on me, you shouldn't hire me.
- They do not support you. If you are making 'errors' these are heavily counted and critisised, you're given warnings and 'discussions'. You're made to have daily meetings with your manager on how to improve, you're forced to have a long winded reason as to why you made that mistake and being a human and humans make mistakes isn't a good enough answer.
- No progression, no support in progressing your career. I brought up to my manager 3 times regarding wanting to progress into HR. All 3 times I was promised assistance, and nothing came of it.
- You only get anywhere if you suck up to management like crazy. If you don't worship your manager, you're not going anywhere.
- Favoritism in teams is very obvious. My best friend and I worked in the same team and whilst she got treated very well, was supported very well, praised, given raises, etc I was the opposite. We found this disgusting that we're seeing the big differences in the way each other was being treated when we worked the exact same. We put in the same effort. In honesty we both agreed I put in more effort.
