Current Employee - Project Manager in Zagreb (Croatia)

I have been working at GfK full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

All pros are about the local company (Croatia)
    Excellent and informal human relations
    Tolerant, understanding local management
Flexible hours and location, everything can be agreed upon

    Cons

All except one department will be closed at the end of the year due global changes of direction
Globally lots of bureaucracy which slows everything down
New company culture seems too artificial

    Advice to Management

Nothing, I hope they know what they're doing - I'm a bit biased to be able to say if it makes sense.

I have been working at GfK full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    Quite flexible and stress free.

    Cons

Very old mentality and processes. 50% of the comp is still in the 90's. At pen and paper. You cannot change a lot as long as the majority of employees are working there for over 20 years and are not open to new ideas or new ways of working.

    Advice to Management

    Be more present
