Pros

Good work-life balance, inclusive, cares about their employees; decision makers (both execs and devs) are very approachable, and overall, even through the lows, the team spirit has always been strong. People love what they're doing and are passionate about games. It's a good place to work.

Cons

Like many studios that grew very fast in the span of a few years, it still struggles at communication and organization at a larger scale, despite all the good will in the world. It sometimes feels like barely controlled chaos. It can be frustrating, but their hearts are in the right place.

Pros

Solid Work-Life Balance: The company really emphasizes ensuring that people have a good balance, especially in an industry like this where crunch culture can be a problem. Great Benefits for All Studios:, including medical care, bonuses, PlayStation 5/Xbox Series X, tons of merchandise, and more, such as gym discounts etc Flexible Working Hours: You can start your workday between 8:00 and 10:00 AM, allowing you time in the morning to drop off kids or go to the gym. The earlier you start, the earlier you finish! Social Events: There are two major social events each year, and remote employees can attend one of them, with the company covering accommodation, flights, and meals for the duration of their stay. Monthly Events: Each studio has monthly events! Hybrid Remote Working: you get the flexibility of working both onsite with teams and from home on a weekly basis. The company has great managers and leaders who embody the Funcom culture, along with experienced seniors who provide valuable learning opportunities for interns and juniors. In my own opinion we have the best Head of Studios in the industry who embody Funcoms values and culture and all of management have an open door policy. You can even speak directly with Rui (CEO) regardless of your job title seniority. Salaries are at a good level and are fair, so each employee gets what they should.

Cons

Communication between teams can be a problem, but this was due to the growth the company had since 2021 as they grew from 197 ppl to now 500+
