      Great Freight Lanes and plenty of work

      Cons

      All freight ran overnight and the Truck Is paid very low rates. Hard to make a good living working for them.

      DROP AND HOOK AT TERMINALS DOES NOT HAVE TO GO TO CUSTOMERS

      We came to Forward Air as Team Owner Operators We talk to company Recruiters they said about 5000 to 6000 miles per week with good home time policy but a lot of times we have to sit at terminals for waiting on Freight and not getting enough miles when we call Dispatchers they said doesn't have freight for Long Haul because Team Drivers appreciate Long Hauls well I think it's a wastage of time and we are planning to leave Forward Air.Anybody want to come on board with Forward Air,please think twice.

      Pros

      Once you are hired in, you can pretty much do whatever with no work in mind. It was equal to a McDonald's play place for 3 year olds. Most managers didn't care because they hated their job as well. They only cared if their butt was on the line for one of their employees actions.

      Cons

      Overworked, shaved paystubs/hours, little to NO advancement opportunities and the salary was horrible compared to industry.
