Pros
There is usually good pay. There is ample opportunity for advancement since you will meet and interact with C-level employees daily. The company is going through major changes and if you are willing to fight for what you want to see, you can make positive changes to the systems in place which is cool. The people are great and managers care about you. However, you do have to have a good degree of independence, so if you need constant coddling it won't work out. High visibility means you have a chance to shine here. It was a very positive experience in my life and I learned a great deal about life during my time here.
Cons
The chronic pain industry in general is wracked with issues. Patients are in enormous psychological pain and the doctors and nurses generally don't give them the emotional support they are looking for. They should be prescribed a therapist along with whatever pain management technique is being used. Flowonix has no control over this. Flowonix is basically at the whim of doctors in the industry, so there is often no way to help these patients when they call other than refer them back to the docs. However, the system is improving and the CEO was interested in looking into this problem which surprised and impressed me. P.S. Work life balance can be infringed upon if you don't set clear boundaries.
