We’re genuinely glad to hear that the relationships you built with colleagues were meaningful — the strength, dedication, and care of our people is something we deeply value.
At the same time, we recognize that the last 18 months have been difficult and unsettling for many, and that change — even when made deliberately — can feel personal and painful, especially for those who have spent years helping build the company. It’s important to acknowledge that impact.
Some of the decisions referenced here were driven by a need to align the company more closely with where our customers, market, and long-term strategy are headed. These choices were not reflections of individual performance, nor were they made lightly. We’ve worked to provide transparency where possible and to treat people with care and respect throughout these transitions, even when the outcomes were hard.
We also want to be clear that leadership decisions are shaped through active discussion, challenge, and accountability at both the executive and board levels. While not every decision will be agreed with by everyone, they are made with the long-term health of the company and its people in mind.
We understand that not everyone will feel aligned with where the company is today, and we respect that perspective. We remain committed to building a focused, grounded organization where teams know the direction we’re heading, understand why decisions are made, and can do meaningful work alongside thoughtful, capable colleagues.
We appreciate you sharing your point of view and wish you the very best in what comes next.
