Pros
High-profile company if an engineer, prolific on the ASX, local CEO if in N Sydney, nice location, er I'm running out of positives
Cons
As a member of the ANZ HR team I saw uninspiring leadership verging on the farcical - gossip, politicking, fear, stress and uneven application of policy. 08 economic downturn prompted head-hunted candidates to have their probationary periods terminated for no reason, reneging on expectations and assurances with no commitment to people. Redundancies were at bare minimum legal entitlement and regularly used in place of performance management (excl 1 Industrial Relations specialist who received a hefty pay-out). People were viewed as revenue generators - no engagement surveys, leadership development, culture work, road-shows, goal-setting and generally no incentive scheme. I would advise against working at WorleyParsons.
