-They hire people for very important integration work that do not have the experience and skills required to do some jobs without the use of line by line instructions that tell them what to do. The main work I'm referring to is configuration of systems and critical thinking.
-Time to produce products has skyrocketed since I first started over 9 years ago due to over processing and hiring a lower skilled workforce. This is even after new tools were developed to help with this.
-The integration centers have too many subprocesses in place leading to large overhead and longer than necessary cycle times to get product out the door.
-It wouldn't be fair if I didn't mention some of the problems that contribute to the integration center problems. Sales and PMO have many challenges providing the lab what they need ahead projects which impacts a lot of the cycle time problems as well.
