Pros

The team I work with is one of the biggest highlights—collaborative, supportive, and always willing to jump in and help when challenges come up. Leadership has been approachable and open to feedback, which creates a sense of trust and transparency in the workplace. The technology and tools we use are generally strong, though there’s always room for continued updates and improvements to keep pace with industry standards. Work–life balance has been solid as well. Expectations are clear, and I feel supported in maintaining healthy boundaries, which makes a huge difference in day-to-day satisfaction.

Cons

Some of the technology could use updates or streamlining, but it doesn’t prevent us from doing our jobs effectively. Better process documentation

Pros

I think that even for a job where you expect to work the crazy long hours during busy season, Wipfli does a great job at showing they care about the well-being of their employees during this time. I have constantly had different individuals throughout Wipfli reach out to me during busy season to see how I was doing mentally. Knowing that individuals care is a big part in being able to get through a stressful time of the work year. The catered lunches we receive during this time is also another example of showing that the Company cares about the well-being of their employees. It gives each office a great time to enjoy some quality lunches and bring social interaction to each of the offices. I also think Wipfli is a great Company to work for outside of busy season, when the hours slow down and work is less stressful. It's encouraged to take time off, reset, and enjoy the summer weather. Wipfli understands that everyone needs to hit the reset button after a long, stressful period of time. I interned the summer before I started full-time as an associate, and sometimes Employers during internships like to play-up the Company and not always show it's true colors. I can honestly say that during my time as an intern and when I started full-time this year, the way I have been treated, the culture, the workplace environment, and the overall caring of Wipfli has been consistently great the entire time.

Cons

Like any job in public accounting, the hours are long and they can be stressful.
