Pros
Benefits to employees are great.
Cons
I didn't work there long because the environment there was horrible! The only redeeming part of the job was how nice some of the customers were. The people I worked with were horrible and mean. In my limited time there, a few were nice but the rest (like some supervisors) were the worst. I had ZERO TRAINING! -Before my actual first day, they told me I just needed to be there for a couple hours to go through paperwork and everything, and then I get there and they were like okay, you'll be a this register etc... -I was told I would just be shadowing someone for the first day or two... NOPE. They knew I had no experience and yet still I received no training. I went to the person I was supposed to "shadow", and they just left me to finish their shift on my own! Not even 10min after starting!! I had no idea what to do when people came by with WICs, no idea what any of the buttons on the remote did (whether to request someone to grab fresh produce to put back etc...) - Super mean supervisors. I could not ask any questions! Before I even got to the person I was supposed to shadow, they told me her name and to go look for her. I went to ask a supervisor and they said they had no idea who that was. An hour later and he's asker her about her kids and crap! -They don't follow their own policies. I went through that whole orientation where they talk about helping customers, and going above and beyond to make sure people are helped. They don't give a crap about any of that. Anytime someone asked for help, they'd ignore them! Then I'd ask what we could do to help and they told me not bother with helping people with crap. ZERO TRAINING, ZERO COMMUNICATION
