Pros
- A few good people with passion and commitment to do a good job still left and holding things together - Access to latest technology and tools - Low bureaucracy
Cons
- Copy-paste products with a reputation that raises constant "is this a scam?” concerns from customers. Growth relies heavily on clickbait, not product value. - Business has been declining for years - layoffs dressed up as strategic restructures are routine, not exception. Pure cost-cutting mode in full swing. - Company reputation in the market is poor and getting worse due to ongoing chaos and job cuts - hiring, especially in Ukraine, is increasingly difficult because of that. - Culture is toxic and political - undercutting, smearing others and gossip are normalised, and start at the very top. - C-level shows little ability to course-correct, there is no clear strategy or direction out of this bad situation. The backdoor promotion CMO in particular lacks the experience for the role, plays favourites, and rewards loyalty over capability for opportunities and support.
