Pros

Mission-based, good location, decent on site perks for the size company- gym and small cafeteria. Retirement benefits are good if you plan to stay for the long haul.

Cons

Full of baby boomers that just won’t retire. Won’t make room for other younger people. Toxic culture. Management likes managers to micro -manage. People have no room to make their own decisions. Also – no ability to work from home at all. Most companies allow people to work from home at times, this is not one of those companies. No maternity or paternity leave. They like to talk about their great benefits, but don’t offer this basic benefit—and the company is led by a woman...and so is HR. Most leader ship has been promoted based on their tenure there, not on merit. That’s how it is there. Also, many people have been in the same positions for over 20 years. Stagnant workforce.
