The leadership team.
The continued disingenuous attempts to cover up the dictatorship of this division with a thin veneer of "people first" propaganda, false "feedback" and "employee engagement" programs fools no one. In global politics it's become fashionable to shout down facts and replace with them alternative and twisted versions of reality - it seems that trend has descended into corporate life. But you can't continue to spin that morale is high and the staff are engaged whilst ignoring that by and large they are just keeping their mouths shut and smiling to keep out of the firing line and hoping they are not the next sudden, mysterious and unexplained departure from the business. (There have been quite a few now - as an observer, mostly those that appeared to be bold enough to speak up) It's not a healthy culture, it breeds fear and ultimately a hugely sub optimal business that does what it has to and nothing more.
