Pros

if you are interested in working for a company that cares for the employees, is still growing and you help produce something that you can be proud of - VESTAS Windsor could be your ticket to all that. You'll be part of a team - get awesome training and very good benefits. All the reports about sinking morale, no strategy, ... are probably from folks that have been around wen the downturn in the wind industry happened. When there is not enough customers paying - it is tough to work for any company. But this is a great company - check it out .. I am excited to work here in Windsor

Cons

got to be a teamplayer - don't try to hire if you are not .. you'll hate it. high quality expectations - if you want to show up at work having had a beer or smoked stuff that might be possible in Colorado now - DON'T HIRE HERE, you'll waste your time ... it's not gonna work!

Pros

Vestas has been at the cutting edge of wind turbine technology for quite some time. They are industry leaders at the global level.

Cons

Culture has been eroding significantly over the past few years. Too many organizational changes, all with the focus on making the shareholders more 'happy,' to the detriment of the employees who have the actual ability to make the work happen. Profit is the only thing that matters at Vestas nowadays and, therefore, several regions that are seemingly less profitable than other are essentially left out to dry. There was always a huge amount of focus on the changing market characteristics, but nearly zero action to make internal changes, either to technology or commercial strategies, in order to improve competitiveness against other WTG OEMs.
