Pros
It can be tough to get into this company and you feel that everyone you work with is an expert in their field. No dead wood in the organistation.
Cons
Expected to work every hour under the sun - especially in a global role where you're dealing across time zones. Senior managers appreciate work/life balance but that disappears down the hierachy. Having a multi cultural environment is a great thing but people tend to stick in groups which alienates others. Dog eat dog approach with lots of finger pointing when things don't go as planned. You're made to feel like you should be grateful to work for such a company rather than them be grateful to have you there. Distinct lack of career progression. Expected to be content with moving sideways in roles at the same level for up to 5 years before making any progression. Non existent personal development conversations with managers. 2 people in my immediate department left within the 2 years I was in the company due to mental health issues brought on by the roles they were in. Poor salary when you benchmark externally.
