The most HORRIBLE, WORST working environment in existence! - Ramp Agent Unifi Employee Review

Pros

Flight Benefits. Priority Code is S3C, which is one level above S4 (Buddy Pass). Although, the priority code is low for DGS employees, its better than not having any flight benefits. If you travel internationally, you should not have any issues. I wish DGS would provide S2 and S3 status like Delta does for their entry-level position employees.

Cons

DGS claims to have an open door policy. Unfortunately, this is not true. If you are to express any concerns, regardless if its about safety, working conditions, FMLA, expect to be retaliated against by local and corporate management. This company promotes those that are good at covering up poor working conditions and safety violations.Extremely high turnover rate. Most employees that are hired, quit within a month or two. Long-term employees are typically minorities from third world countries without much work experience outside DGS, so they have no choice but to stay and be abused.

Pros

No pros to working at Unifi. The Airport is beautiful and people are great. Unfortunately the employees work very hard for little pay and support from Unifi.

Cons

The company has significant internal issues that are not adequately addressed by Human Resources. There appears to be a culture of covering up problems rather than resolving them transparently. Leadership seems more focused on employee retention metrics and maintaining appearances with the airlines they serve than on addressing serious workplace concerns and holding individuals accountable. One of the most concerning examples was the handling of a manager who allegedly inappropriately harassed employees over a period of years. Despite ongoing concerns, meaningful action was not taken for years.. Situations like this create an environment where employees lose trust in leadership and feel that workplace misconduct is not taken seriously. This company should prioritize employee safety, accountability, and ethical management. Addressing serious concerns promptly and transparently is essential to retaining good employees and fostering a healthy workplace culture.
