Pros

There are some great managers/mentors. Good team culture. Most colleagues are willing to help lend a hand even if it doesn’t benefit them directly.

Cons

There are over 45 different products/services to sell so it can be overwhelming. Pay structure is very gray for sales and they have a tendency to withhold payments on promotions and bonuses. Sales doesn’t get paid out until client pays invoices which wouldn’t be an issue if MSA payment terms weren’t so long like 90 days. Commission holds happen a lot when clients don’t pay and TransPerfect doesn’t acknowledge those longer payment terms in some MSAs. Sales teams are also responsible for the collection of invoices which makes the client relationship awkward at times. Very high volume project by project account management not leaving much time to focus on generating new business which is how you are compensated at a higher %. All in compensation is far too low for the volume of work.

Pros

Simple onboarding process, very responsive staff in the EU to support with issues Placement client is good to work with to adjust scheduling for client and student needs.

Cons

Time difference sometimes means delays in communication.

Pros

The work isn't too tough. The people in the office are skilled and pleasant. There are decent benefits and you can work from home for 2 days.

Cons

The pay is bad. Decent for when you first start but raises are small and infrequent. Bonuses are even smaller and more infrequent. We were fully remote but slowly have been forced back into office for no good reason.
