Pros
- Great line of diverse products to sell (most of them are very competitive) - Fun co-workers (heavily dependent on location) - Plethora of Industry savvy co-workers to learn product knowledge and sales tips from - POTENTIAL for long term high pay - Benefits (Health insurance and PTO) are significantly better than most small-mid size companies
Cons
- Pyramid scheme with extra perks structure - Very low starting salary for all jobs - Morale in most locations - Work/Life balance is terrible compared to most good sales teams - You are expected to manage accounts for which you don't get paid, but your managers do (they're essentially milking you for free work so they can get commission). - Upper management. Some people have been there so long they own so many accounts and barely work while still getting paid commission. This is very discouraging for new employees. - Commission structure until you hit Director level is a joke (1% on referred clients, 2% on clients you find yourself) while your managers are making 9+% on your sales. - Promotions are done in bulk, and aren't based on success. I had colleagues who had done nothing but been there half a year longer than me, get promoted at the same time with the same pay raises.
