Pros
The only real thing I liked about working at Trane in Clarksville, TN was that it was honest work for honest pay.
Cons
What made me hate working there was most (not all) of my coworkers. They were the type of people who were content doing just enough to not be fired. They took no pride in their work. They also routinely forced us to work 10-12 hour shifts 5 days a week, including 2 out of every 3 Saturdays. They'd have worked us that 3rd Saturday, too, if not for the Union telling them they weren't allowed to. Good overtime pay, but zero time for life. Not much point in having money if you can't do anything BUT work. The higher ups also showed a distinct lack of awareness of what was going on. They'd call in entire departments to work mandatory overtime when said department didn't even have the parts they needed to DO their work. They'd, no kidding, just come in to work and stand there all day. (Which sounds awesome for the worker, but there was so much overtime already that pointless overtime was irritating and very unwelcome)
