Pros
They don't drug test because they don't have the funds to pay for it
Cons
Stores are consistently short staffed but cannot hire due to payroll restrictions. Managers often have 1 or 2 employees to run the entire store. Theft is rampant, including customers and employees. Wages are at the bottom end of retail work, several dollars below the local living wage, raises are less than inflation, and because of that new hires make more than employees who have been there for years. Naturally, this leads to high turnover and a high percentage of fresh untrained employees. SOP's are hidden, outdated, and convoluted so everybody just wings it with no accountability.
