      Really amazing and creative people working here. Top-notch facilities for students. Beautiful office spaces.

      Cons

      The cost per student is astronomical and the management structure, with primary funders being the founders and leaders of the org, makes it challenging to fundraise or earn the trust of the community. The way the founders talk about students is alarming and deficit-based. Hardly any focus on DEIB work. High staff turnover.

      TPZ employs highly skilled and knowledgeable staff, many of whom have entrepreneurial experience. Team members are committed to their work and dedicated to supporting students.

      Cons

      Leadership frequently revises organizational goals, often setting them in December and modifying them by midyear. Despite emphasizing that TPZ is more than an experiment, new initiatives and approaches continue to be introduced.
