Pros
- People in the office are nice and very talented - I've met so many talented people that genuinely care and want TELUS to succeed. They believe in the product and work through the numerous hurdles to make it work. - Telecommuting
Cons
- Morale is low - incredible amount of fake enthusiasm - driven by initiatives to increase comradery. Lots of free ice cream if your willing to forgo basic wage hikes. - Wildly different experiences for career progression depending on manager. - Increasing offshore / contractors with no addition to full time staff This isn't specific to TELUS, all corporations are like this. If you can ignore the negatives, it can be a decent place to work.
