Pros

Smooth interview process - Recruiters and interviewers are very helpful in interview as well as onboarding process, it feels like joining a friendly environment. Leadership with a Vision - Leadership is very proactive about taking steps to make organization a better place in every aspect and offer best solutions to clients and customers to make their work easier. One thing I personally like is that our voices are getting heard and given a considerable thought for every suggestion we offer, which basically allows decisions to be made unanimously considering the pros and cons for each. 3. Friendly environment - Though we wfh due to covid still it doesn't feel like we are separated. Within few days of my joining I felt like I know everyone since long time because everyone was really welcoming and willing to help. Managers, team leads and team members also talk about different stuff other than just technical things or business stuff which helps us to get very comfortable within the team and promotes a healthy environment. Opportunities to Grow - Since my joining I have seen many colleagues in various teams getting promoted to higher roles or switch across departments which brings optimism in terms of growth opportunities and also encourages us to learn how to contribute more and take the ownership of the work for higher roles.

Cons

As if now I don't see any cons in the company, in fact the company is continuously trying to provide all the help and support to each employee so that we can work from home comfortably and deliver results on time.

Pros

Good pay, decent benefits, unlimited time off.

Cons

From the start, it was uncomfortably obvious that at least half of the people in marketing had problems with one another. You could actively feel the tension in every interaction: during video calls, in email threads, even in Slack chats, etc. At first, I blamed structural issues. The various marketing teams were set up in a confusing way, and it wasn’t clear who owned what or who made final decisions. So I understood why everyone felt like their toes were being stepped on. However, I really think it goes beyond that. There’s a fundamental lack of respect, and it’s led to an extremely negative and passive aggressive environment. The pay is slightly above market value, which is what led me to accept the job in the first place (despite one of my pre-employment interviews with the team being so tense and uncomfortable that the hiring manager actually had to apologize). However, I really wish I had trusted my gut. My experience at SurePayroll was by far my least favorite of my entire career.
