Pros

40% discount...except I can now find more unique clothes at Target, so.

Cons

* Tech outages, glitches are constant & I mean, constant. Every day there are one or more issues to deal with. We either have to move our hours or take a pay cut when they are significant enough to disrupt our workflow. Some days, I have spent 12 hours at my computer to fill a 7 hour shift. * In that same vein, when Texas had the snowstorms this winter (which literally killed people), they were given NOTHING. No power meant no work which meant no pay. This was an entire week. *flexibility was the last perk we had to this job & that was recently taken away. Stitch Fix literally just pushed out all of those with full-time jobs and lots of stay-at-home-moms...as a company that used to tout "female empowerment", this was despicable. *perhaps I spoke too soon when I said this position was flexible. It was in the sense that we could choose when to work, but we are consistently given our work requirements TWO DAYS before the start of the work week. We are rarely given the full amount of hours we signed on for. *toxic positivity is rampant *inventory is a literal joke & we are NEVER prepared for seasonal changes *cut off most communication with peers unless done under the manager's watchful eye *NO chance at upward mobility. *we push for diversity and inclusion, yet a white man with one year at SF was given our Regional Director position over a WOC with more seniority who had that title when her "position was cut"...hmm.

Pros

You are able to work from home

Cons

Very unmotivating work environment. You get a couple of small raisies when you first start but then they cut off raises and expect you to perform at 100% efficiency 100% of the time. There is no motivation to do so. You are basically chained to you desk while you style because everything you do is timed. They provide no tools or stipend for the items you need in order to work from home. No internet stipend, nothing towards your computer, I never even got a pencil after being there 5 years. You have little no interaction with other people. The inventory is poor. Management is always turning over. I think I had about 8 different managers over my 5 years there. They mico manage you. You would think styling would be a creative job but not here. You don't even get to write your own note to a client anymore. AI writes it and you pretty much have to go that route bc you have about 8 minutes to style a client to stay within your efficiency goals. Overall its great that you can work from home but the job is extremely unmotivating and not rewarding. There is no room for advancement. DO yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This is not the company or culture you want.
