Pros

- Solid work-life balance. Management genuinely cares about this aspect of your work. - Massive exposure to cutting-edge tech and popular ecosystems. After a few years at Starburst in a technical role, you will be a "Jack of all trades". - Honest and transparent leadership. - Continuous company growth despite economic challenges in the tech sector. - Genuine effort goes into career growth (getting certifications, taking classes, hosted lunch & learns, etc.). - Leadership makes smart use of investment dollars (i.e. they don't blow millions to host company-wide parties in the Bahamas).

Cons

- No retirement matching - Pay is slightly below the industry standard - Can be overwhelming at times. Things change rapidly (the same can be said about most startups). Starburst is inherently a very connective software, so the technical scope is enormous. All of these can be considered a pro depending on your perspective.

Pros

While we experience the typical challenges of a growing startup, leadership at Starburst is deeply committed to learning, evolving, and improving across the board—from product to culture. I’m proud to be part of a company where your voice matters and you’re trusted to make an impact.

Cons

As with any startup, priorities can shift quickly, and you need to be comfortable adapting and pivoting. It’s not necessarily a downside—just the reality of working in a fast-moving environment.
